Printable Passport For Kids: How To Make a Travel Scrapbook

Some of my favorite memories as a child were when I traveled. Even when the exploration took place in my classroom. I found that the more I was able to learn about the lifestyle of people from other countries, the more I was able to connect to my own culture and identity.

This printable scrapbook travel journal is a perfect way for children to engage with their travel journey.

They can fill their passport with memories and experiences along with interesting facts they may learn. Once the passport is complete, they will have created a keepsake they can keep forever.

Supplies needed:

The great thing about this printable passport is that you can keep it simple or make it detailed.
If you decide to print out the passport as is, then you can easily take it on the road and fill out the sections as they are. If you would like it to be more like a scrapbook, then you can assemble it in such a way that you can collect various items and information from your travels.
If you decide that you would like to turn this into a scrapbook, here are the supplies and steps to make that happen.

Supplies to Make a Travel Scrapbook:

Thin Cardboard: To create more durability, I will glue the passport pages to thin pieces of cardboard. I use old pizza boxes or pasta boxes.

Scissors
Glue
Tape
Stickers: I use a variety of stickers. Some I find at the local Dollar Store, or I might print my own.
Education Travel Resources:

I personally used the following to fill our passport:

Adventures with Atlas (Peru Country Unit)

Sparks of Love and Ginger (Canada Country Unit)

Wild Hearts Academy( Frida Kahlo Study)

Where to Begin:

When starting a Travel Scrapbook, I always like to begin with the country that we are currently in. For my son, that was the U.S. We then dedicated a few pages to Colorado, which was where we were living at the time. We talked about the flag and discussed some of his favorite things about the state.

There is also a small box to place a local stamp, or if your child is learning about the countries in a classroom setting they can draw a picture of what they think a stamp might look like. On the right side, your child can draw a picture of something they saw or experienced, and write a brief description about what they learned.

This packet also comes with 7 continent stickers to place in your passport, as well as 12 country flags to get you started on your scrapbooking journey.

**The quality of the product will be based on the type of printer you have, and the ink and paper you use. I suggest printing on a thinker construction paper. Though, regular computer paper is just fine.
Once printed and bound, your book should be about 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 in size.

You are free to print this passport for your home or classroom setting. Please do not resell this product for your own profit.

***Since this is a digital download, I do not offer refunds.

Thank you and..
