The Boulder Falls: This little detour is perfect i The Boulder Falls: This little detour is perfect if you only have a short amount of time but you really want to see something magical. It is a 10 minute drive up Canyon Rd from Downtown Boulder. There is a small area to park and about a 5 minute walk up some stairs before you get to the falls. On this particular day, it was raining and the stream was raging. Yet we were completely fine if we kept our distance from the edge. My son loved these falls. Today we visited a hidden gem of Boulder, Colorado Today we visited a hidden gem of Boulder, Colorado. It’s been a bit of a stressful week, so the Junkyard Social Club was the perfect escape. You can order a drink from the café and watch your kids explore the many play spaces that the playground has to offer. It is set up, so they can literally climb on anything, including the top of the outdoor stage! Admission is $12 for any child over 2 for the day, or you can get a monthly membership that also offers discounts on the cafe.
